Nobody said being a Christian is easy. As a matter of fact, it's a lot harder knowing you have to control your thoughts and desires because you are accountable. No wonder so many people fight against it and then feel so guilty that they look for ways to "debunk" the credibility of it all. Heaven forbid they should have to be accountable for their own actions.

This is very true. A lot of this is because when you are a Christian and you have Jesus in your heart you don't want to do sinful things anymore. You want to live a life for Christ. Everytime you do something that might not be appropriate you will get that little nudge from what many people think is your conscience, but it's really God tugging at your heartstrings letting you know that it probably isn't right.

Yes, also i am aware of the pain which this world is surrounded in. I am aware of the unquestionable beauty of this world god has made for us. Jesus Christ is indeed the salt of my salvation giving new life in everything i do. Sin fullness is our downfall and gods glory for it does not matter how or why you fall but how quick you get back up to fight again. we learn from sin, god exposes our sin and then gives us wisdom so that next time we would not commit the same sin again but for see it and hide ourselves from it.

I would disagree. The closer I get to Jesus, the more peace and love I feel. When I feel sinful and bad, it is because I am not awake to God's love. Wake up.

do you really wanna debate this one ??!! Since when does getting closer to Jesus means you suddenly realize how sinful your existence is ? I thought it should be the other way around. You are supposed to realize accelerating salvation and redemption. isn't that the whole idea behind Jesus dying for the sins of the mankind ??

Yes., friend. It is logical too.
More than anything else it is our conscience that constantly tell us right from the wrong.: good from the bad. Yet, many times we overrule that inner voice and do things against that conscience. It hurts a little and we forget it as another such incidence takes over.
But, when we stand infront of say, jesus ( I follow another such old system of faith) and think of his sacrifices and intense faith in value systems, we feel a pang of guilty conscience. Since we were not punished when we did what we did , we feel a sense of remorse. Sunconsciously we feel like thanking him for the reminder . I feel it is good progree in life

I think that that is kinda the point in getting to know Jesus. He makes you aware of your sins, because now you the truth, and now you can establish standards for whats right or wrong, and that can help you keep your sins to a minimum. you're always going to sin. that's inevitable. but just keep in mind that He wants you to do the right thing.

Sure. That's because you're closer to those manipulative minds that will drive you into guilt for anything you've done against the rules. That's ONE powerful reason to keep away from churches. You get to live a better life.

I am Muslim and the closer I get to Allah the more clean I feel and the happier I feel (This means prayer, fasting, going to the mosque, being aware of my actions, trying to do the right thing and when I fall short I ask for forgivenss). Allah has 99 names and one of them is The Forgiving.

Yes, that is profound truth. God wants to purify our hearts and our souls so that we can truly be the light of Christ and can see Him face to face one day when He calls us home. It is the purification process, as we strive and desire to be so conformed to the perfection of His endless love for us. Jesus loves us more than we can ever begin to know and we are so painfully aware of how undeserving we are of this great love and how far we fall short when we fall into sin.
