Have a civil ceremony or have a person capable of performing such a duty come to your chosen place (house, beach, park, etc.). After all, it is your wedding and you should have it where YOU want it...not where the guests think it is appropriate or what people on this Y! answers think appropriate :-)

You have a few options!
A) Find the minister or official who you want to marry you first, most of the time they will have ideas on where to get married being that they do this for a living
B) look in your local phone book for churches or venus who do weddings under the wedding section.
C) Find a historical church in your area, most of the time because they are historical land marks they function as more then just a church, and often times allow outsiders for weddings.
C) Don't get married in a church, there are a ton of beautiful places to get married, outside, in a community center.
My husband and I didn't want to get married in a church because we that theological views of what a church should be, so we got a pastor who was a friend of my husbands and got married in this wicked cool victorian house used for officers of the army back in the day. I love it because chances are no one will ever rip it appart and make it modern because it's historical so we can always view the place we got married in. :)
I hope this helps!

You don't need to get married in a church. There are other options. You could marry at someones house, a garden, a park. Pick any place you want. If it must be in a church then how about one that some of yours or his relatives go to.

My church allows non members to marry there for a small fee. You will find that most churches will do that. I do agree with some of the other answers, tho. Why do you want a church wedding if you don't go to church? I like the outdoor approach, or perhaps a wedding chapel.

Don't get married in a church. I was married on a beach. Find a setting that has meaning for you and your partner and get married there!

If you are not a church attender, then you should not be hypocritical and get married in a church. Go to city hall, or have a civil wedding elsewhere.

Well if you really don't have any religious ties, maybe you should consider not getting married at a church or get married at your spouse's church.

There are so many NEAT places to get married besides a church!

Many state parks are just gorgeous and have huge lodges with banquet rooms/lodging for guests with beautiful nature themes...

Check out your state's national parks and see if any near you have these amenities.

You could get married outdoors in a lovely setting there, or the lodge would have a place with a beautiful overlook of something scenic if you'd prefer an inside wedding. And then you've got the reception site right there!

PERFECT.

Don't get married in a chruch. Find a non denomination minister to do your ceremony. Have a backyard wedding. Or have an wedding at a state park. When and if I get married again (I'm a widow), I plan on having my wedding at our local state park. Its beautiful out there. And just so you know, its the brides choice of the place of the ceremony. Its in bridal etiquette books!
