are men and woman in differant leagues when it comes to looks? is it possible to aim too high when it comes to approaching someone better looking than yourself? most people are reluctant to admit that less attractive people,particulaly men,have a very slim chance of meating someone. in my experience a woman will only listen to what you have to say for yourself if she is happy with what she is sees, true or not?

I don't think it that true that someone can be out of someone league. Because so many other things can goo right or wrong on the intial approach that it wouldn't matter.

Some people believe in it, ie 'shes out of my league', but basically that means they are too scared to go over and talk. If your confident in yourself then there is no such things as leagues only I am/am not attracted to you and thats completely independant of how you yourself look.
It does work I've been out with some truely beautiful people as well as some that others thought were ugly but as long as I was happy I didn't care what they looked like.

there are to many people in the world that judge people on thier looks, but there are still quite a few that like to see a person for what they really are. from my own past experiences i have found even with just freinds the good looking people can have the ugliest personalitys and the not so good looking people can turn out to be the most friendly and sincere people you could meet

The whole personality n looks thing........ I think there are certain leagues, dont want to sound shallow or anything, personality is very important, but if there isn't a physical attraction there, your less likely to get to the personality bit

some maybe that way..not all. Me...I have dated a variety of different looking men big tall slender short hair long hair, because whats important to me is there personality and how they act and talk to me and make me laugh. I am know married and alot of my friends don't understand what attracts me to my husband. He is not the most handsome man, but to me he is because he makes me laugh and loves me and my kids. and he has the most beautiful blue eyes. It all depends on the person.

Always remember that the most handsome person can appear very ugly and an ugly person can appear very handsome, it's all to do with personality and charisma. It's always best to be yourself.

I don't believe so, I have dated really pretty girls to the girls that are the not so pretty type. so from my side looks are not important, now as for the girls since i was across the spectrum, it can't be that big a deal for some of them either.
