Jesus' resurrection was a special event. He was bodily seen by many and still had the wounds from His crucifixion. Yes, He ate. There are other examples in the New Testament which suggest eating after a bodily resurrection.
John 12:1-3 Lazarus is reclining at a table during a feast (after Jesus resurrected him.)
Mark 5:35-42 Jesus raises Jairus' daughter from the dead then orders something for her to eat.
I suppose Jesus ate rather normally with the men on the road to Emmaus and with other disciples. No mention is made of any bizarre method, at least.
Hope this helps. As for eating in Paradise, I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see. God bless you, richly.

Your question is a pretty good one. I believe that until we experience the reunification of our bodies and souls at the rapture we will be in heaven in spirit only, and therefore will not eat. Of course, those who are still alive at the time of the rapture will not experience heaven in just the spirit, but will be transformed instantly into their glorified bodies, and therefore never experience the separation of spirit from body. Jesus was raised from the dead bodily, in His glorified body, just as we will one day be, those who have faith in Him. When we get to heaven, we will be like the angels, who eat, as manna is the food of angels (Psalm 78:24, 250.
EDIT: Sorry, that should be (Psalm 78:24, 25). Missed the 'shift' button there

Jesus was not just a "spirit" after the Resurrection. He was a living flesh and blood human being, just as He was before His death. In fact, the reason he ate in the presence of the apostles was to reassure them that he was in fact alive, and not just some sort of apparition.

Jesus was not a spirit,He was flesh and bone. That's how he ate .Read John chapter 2 all of it ,and Luke chapter 24(He says "Touch me ,see,a spirit does not have flesh and bone a s I do".He looked different when he wanted to.On the road to Emmaus his diciples didn't recognize Him until He blessed and broke the bread.Thomas didn't believe it was Him until he touched His healed wounds(Can't touch a ghost!)

Simple, although many may disagree, he wasn't a spirit after the Resurrection. His body and spirit were back together, and stayed together in a perfect form. Except the scares to prove who he is. Can we eat, although we won't need to, to stay alive I'm sure we can. and since our bodies will be "perfected", no you won't get fat. So eat away, well later anyway. Good question BTW, opens a lot of areas of disscusion.

I believe that when we make it to heaven we will not have a need to eat because we will be in spirit. Our bodies remain here on Earth, and we have no need for them or food in Heaven. When Jesus rose from the dead his body was renewed, so therefore he needed nourishment. Please do not be concerned about weight. Your whole way of thinking will change if you are blessed enough to get to heaven. Gods reality is not our own.

Jesus was not a spirit when He ate. He told Thomas to put his hand in his side. He was real, He came back from the dead intact just as prophecy said He would. If he rose not from the dead then we worship in vain.

He had a resurrection body and was not a spirit. He did not look different. That is a lie of some organizations.

*smile* I hope so too, and second that thing about not gaining weight. We will, one day, have glorified bodies; perfect in every way, no longer aging or sick. Eternal. No more tiredness or headaches. Ah....I can hardly wait!

He was raised from the dead.
We'll be able to eat too but there won't be a possibility of being imperfect via eating, etc.
