Or Jesus...

I know why that is. What do YOU think?

Simple. In the first place, they believe in the same God. Infidels are defined as people that try to convert any follower of God (Christian, Muslim, or Jew) away from God. Many criticize the US and the UK for denouncing their religion and trying to force Christianity and Western values (war, capitalism, greed, etc.) on the people of the Middle East. Jesus is a revered messenger of God, and Christians are considered fellow followers of God. You can't blame the whole religion for the actions of a few extremists...you wouldn't want people to blame all Christians for the actions of Pat Robertson, who owned a diamond mine in Congo with Charles Taylor, and would cut off the hands of children as a warning to keep working hard and not complain to the rest of the workers, frequently just killing lazy workers, and then talk about assasinating the leaders of two democratic nations because they were working to help the poor, would you?

smileyman...aren't you glad that We installed an Islamic Republic based on Sharia Law (as interpreted by radical fundamentalists)? Way to free the people, huh?

People need to stop getting focused on symptoms. We all need to step back and find the cause. Take care of the cause, and the symptoms will fade. Symptom: Terrorism. Cause: Western countries (primarily the US and the UK) messing with them, stirring up trouble between them, and otherwise making their lives miserable for the last century. They were ok with Israel, until Israel took, by force, 50% more land. When the Arabic people in the area fought back, Israel took 50% more land again, and took and held the entire Sinai Penninsula for several months. Then the took the Suez, then they took this piece, that piece, whatever they felt like. I'm not talking about Jewish people. I'm talking about the radical right-wing nutbags in office. We toppled 2 Democracies, installed the Taliban, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, and many others in the region. This, of course spread the message of fundamentalism throughout the middle east. The US was seen as a country constantly trying to mess things up for everyone in the area, and to fight them meant to join up with these people that WE set up! Not talking about SH, because, as we all know, he had nothing to do with Al Quaida.

And now we've exploded so much DU, that many scientists fear would, over the course of the next 9-10 generations to kill off most life in the area. The equivalent of 250,000 Nagasaki Atom Bombs in radioactivity...and it has a half-life of 4.5 BILLION years!

You wonder why they don't like us?

Stop focusing on the symptoms, and lets get these problems...these causes...solved! Apologize for messing with them for the last century, make reimbusements to the civilians (not terrorists, you idiots that were thinking that!), get their infrastructure set back up and running smoothly, and get the hell out of their business!!! And make Israel go back to the original size it was given and make them stop trying to take more land!

Causes people, not symptoms!

Jesus is a prophet to Muslims.
Also Muslims respect Christians and Jews.
In the Quran Christians and Jews are referred as People of the Book because before the Quran there were the original Bible and Torah.

That because true practicing Muslims respect Christianity because it was from God, the God of Christianity and Judaism is the same God of Islam.

And Jesus (PBUH) is a very revered Prophet in the eyes of every Muslim...You will never find a Muslim denouncing Christ they way he is described in Islam.

To bad the same is not true with some of our Christian brothers and sisters, when they talk about Islam or the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)!

I am a hardcore athiest who has always been treated kindly and with respect by muslims. I recieve nothing but criticism and hatred from christians when I reveal this. I am not speaking about those radical false muslims, but the true followers of Allah that I have personally met and spent hours peacefully debating theology with. I am truly sorry that there are those out there who corrupt the Quran and I am ashamed that there are people out there who blame all muslims for the evils they see around them. But to answer your question, no it does not surprise me because Muslims and Christians follow the same god, just under different names.

Why then do they call us all infidels? They only recognize Jesus as a prophet of God. They do not recognize Him as the Divine Son of God. If they don't denounce Christianity, why do they want to kill all of us? Why do they believe that America is the Great Satan?

And you, by calling yourself Jesus, are blaspheming. Jesus warned us about false prophets and false Christs. You will be called to account for this egregious sin. May God have mercy on your soul.

Never?

"a man who converted to Christianity is being prosecuted in Kabul, and a judge said Sunday that if convicted, he faces the death penalty"

i think that might be a little more than "denouncing"

PS i dare you to put this question to a vote

Hmm, yeah some Muslims do. The radicals tell us Islam is the only true religion. Isn't that denouncing Christianity? I think it is, and they even go further than that. Anyway, nice try.

No, they use the word Zionist to denounce Christianity and Judaism.

They do not denounce Jesus, because they regard him very highly, as a great Prophet.

But I have noticed them criticizing Christianity plenty.

Ihave had followers of islam try to kill me because they thought I was a Christian... I was not at the time... I have heard followers of islam rant against Christians and Jews. Personaly, not on TV.

IMO... islam is the greatest evil facing the world today.

For islam in the west it is all about PR... but they still hate Christians as much as they hate Jews...
