So, I've been getting the old 'look around you at how incredible the world is, it must have a creator' argument lately.
Okay, practice what you preach. Look at a single cell it is so incredibley complicated and amazingly self-regulating and idealy suited to reproduce and survive, that it boggles the mind.
Now imagine the intellect that it would take to create every single cell, atom, and mote of dust.
Now compare that to your own. You might be a little above pond scum in comparisson.
Now why would some brilliant omnipotent being want to spend eternity with someone slightly smarter than a not-to-bright rock?

Why do you own a dog or cat? I take it that your IQ is about the same level as your goldfish, if I follow your logic.

Yes, this is the second time that I gave the same answer, but it is also the second time that you posted this question.

God made us in His image and likeness. So if you're saying that we are a little above pond scum and only slightly smarter than a not too bright rock, aren't you saying the same about the Almighty? God is the Supreme Being. He knows everything. He made us in His image and likeness. He loves us. We are His children. What Father wouldn't want His children around Him for all eternity? I thank Him for loving me that much! And I plan to spend eternity with Him. Where will you be spending eternity?

How far was Da Vinci above the Mona Lisa? The painting couldn't talk to him or do much of anything, but i'm sure he loved it and was proud of his work. Is it so hard then to believe that God is proud of His people who obey and love Him?

actually, I don't think you are giving humans enough credit. We are (well, some of us are) really smart. Look at Einstein, and Hawking. They have amazing brains. In fact, I would say that their brains emanated from the One Mind of God. So, we are his children. A mother loves her child, and wants to be around her child, even before the child is able to speak or understand that when it closes its eyes, you don't disappear.

Rocks don't send people to space. They don't feed the hungry, they don't give to the poor.

I suggest you look at the world inside you, and forget about what happens on the outside.

I wanted to hang out with my children from their birth, when they could not even speak or form a thought.

It's called 'Love'.

I hope you can understand it someday.
