if you want a real answer, psychological expiriments have shown that to some extent inteligence is genetic, but nurture over time overpowers nature. If you want a sarcastic answer, I think there's somethin in the water 'round here... all but a few are really stupid around here and I don't know why.

I think there is something genetic to the idea that "people are getting dumber." Statistically, the lower the educational level, the more children people have. College-educated people have less children than High School drop-outs. Poorer people tend to have more children than rich people. So, a lot of children are being born to parents who don't have knowledge to pass on to them and cannot afford to send them to good schools, or to college at all. Fewer children are being born to those with knowledge and who can afford a good education for their children.

I believe it is genetic...Most parents that are smart and go to college their kids also do too.

I DON'T THINK IT'S THE WATER. USUALLY WE GET ALL OF OUR GENES FROM OUR FAMILY. SOME JUST SEEM TO GET THE BETTER OR THE WORST IN SOME FAMILIES.
