I didn't come up with it pal, the Republicans did, and they used that dichotomy to help them divide the country to win the election, remember?

OK fine, Libertarians believe that no one should have to be burdened by others that they disagree with. So, for instance, welfare mothers they don't wnat them living off thier taxes they hate welfare. Well, veterans benefits is welfare, it is a fact that vets benefits are considered welfare in the budget, lets not argue that. So, maybe the people who support the war and participated in it would be happier to live amongst those who support it and want to fund it further. Maybe those who do not would like to live in peace an spend money on health care and education instead of war?

Who suggested this project? Was it your anti-vietnam hippie of a teacher or did you just pull this out your ***. VA benifits are indeed NOT welfare. retirement checks are not welfare. And even if it was, those who serve pay taxes too. and those taxes pay for said "welfare" besides this country was founded on the thought that you could live where you want. So if you don't like it why dont you pack your $hit and move to Siberia. There you wont be bothered by those pesky war vets who got injured to pay for your freedom, and are now missing limbs and cant work and therefore collect disability. Wow so i guess by your standards if you were crossing the street and got hit and were disabled I could force you to move somewhere else because I didn't want to pay for your welfare. Ohhhh... i get it. you are one of those little rich kids who thinks welfare is bad because you have enough money and everyone else should be able to provide for themselves. Does your grandma work? think on that. Tell me what sustains her. Is it not some form of welfare?

I will answer your question as sensibly as I can if you will just add some details explaining WHY you think it is a good idea? What is your thought process? This is almost the same question, just worded differently, that you asked a little while ago and people in that thread also asked you to explain yourself further.

Edited to Add: Thanks for the clarification. I'll give it a go.

1. Just because a state is 'red' and another state 'blue" doesn't mean that ALL people in that state agree or disagree with the war.

2. It doesn't matter in what state that a veteran lives, veterans funds come out of the federal budget, not the state budget.

3. You live in America. You don't get to make people with whom you disagree live somewhere else.

4. The Iraqi war vets didn't make the decision to go to war. They simply obeyed the legal orders of their commander in chief. Therefore they should not bear any consequence to those orders..

5. I rarely find that the Libertarians are a good source of wisdom for any argument.

Who considers Veterans benefits as welfare? I've never heard that one before. They are benefits agreed upon at enlistment, just like any other job that offers perks. And if you only knew how much grief the VA gives veterans trying to deny what they are entitled to and agreed to when they enlisted. But then you probably don't understand. Why don't you join up and do your duty? It would help open your eyes to the real world and help you grow up. Maybe you might even learn to love your country and gain some self respect.

Your mother must be proud.

I just knew that nothing good could come of comparing Iraq to Vietnam.

This is a project? Well, if I was doing a project like this one, I'd start by asking people for their views, rather than telling people their views.

I am personally so tired of being told what conservatives believe by people who don't even speak the same language...

Your statement and question make you sound like a nut. People in this country live where they want. It would be especially repugnant to limit in any way the living places of war vets, Iraq or any other war. AND, Republicans NEVER suggested such an idiotic scheme. It had to come from a disturbed mind.I wonder whose?

Chow!!

ok. again. seriously, why do you ask this? why should anyone be told where to live? none of us know how to answer this question?
now that you have explained i will try to answer. i see where you are going with the question, but in the end, i could give a rats *** what my neighbor thinks or feels. if i serve 20 years, and get a retirement and that is considered welfare, then send me the check. i got my combat patch and i know what i did to get it. to me that is taking political correctness and ACLU stupid **** to the max. thank you for explaining your question more.
