You are not alone out there, millions do the same. The good thing is you know you are doing this, that means you know when you are getting depressed or nervous. Since you know that tell yourself to go do something, anything. Take a walk around the block, take the trash out, clean something. You just need to do something to flip that switch in the brain to something else. You will develope a pattern eventually that will become something new in your life.

Just because you eat when you're bored ot depressed doesn't necessarily mean you have an eating disorder. That means you are an emotional eater which may or may not be an eating disorder. An eating disorder means that you have issues with your body image and weight adn are obsessed with it. Sounds like you just overeat sometimes.

I am the same. When I am depressed I either don't eat at all, or I eat like a pig.
When I am happy, I eat right.

the other ideas are good, learn your triggers and avoid them or redirect them. but that may not be enough. if you feel out of control, or you just can't seem to moderate your eating, you need to seek professional help. if you even think you have a problem, it never hurts to talk to someone you trust.

it happens to me too, but in my case it comes and goes. What i do to stop it is replacing all the junk food with water, everytime i want to eat something I drink water.

complusive over eating. you eat your feelings, try to distract yourself or channel your emotions through a creative way. try painting or singing or boxing.
