That is good but not that original. Everyone names their big dogs Bear. How about rearanging the letters in Mastiff and see what you come up with.

It's an everyday name for dogs, so no, I personally don't like it. It is your pet though.
I have a bullmastiff named Bella Jean, a black lab named Little Guy "JAG," a boxer mix named Fanny Tasia (fantasia), and a shepard mix named Suki.

Bear is a pretty common big dog name- so no, I don't personally like it.
Augustus, Brutus, Bearlll (like barrel).....
It's your dog though!!!
