if i go see my friend in county jail will he be behind glass or no? or will it depend on the crime he committed??

If it is a county jail, I doubt there will be glass seperating you. Usually that is only in the state pens.

most jails will have you in separate rooms, separated by a glass window, w/ a telephone to talk thru. But this my be different, depending on where you live, and the policies of your county.

It all depends on the jail. Some have glass particians and some don't. It is actually better for the prisoner if there is glass because that way they don't have to undergo a body search.

Usually separated by glass and talk through a vent in the wall or on a phone.

Except for cow towns, you will be separated by glass and talk on a telephone. The conversations are recorded and monitored so don't say anything that you don't want heard.

I'm pretty sure they're behind glass, at least that's how it is in Hawaii. The reason for that is because of security measures:drugs, assault, etc.
