The European Goldfinch can be found throughout Europe
Asia and some parts of Africa. It is a very cheerful, perky
bird which is a delight to both the eyes and ears as they have such a beautiful song which is not repetitious.

There are few special feeding requirements which can easily satisfy the Gold Finch. However breeding them can be a bit more challenging.

They can be kept in a smaller size cage, but for breeding they need a larger one or an aviary.

They are extremely acrobatic and love to hang upside down and hang on to the cage sideways for fun.

The color of a European Gold Finch includes a red, white and black face.Black and white wings and tail with splashes of a gold, rich brown belly.

They are a little similar to a Canary but with a little more work to do as they will not survive on a Canary or Finch diet.

You should consider whether you want to go through the extra work, it is easy enough to do and very well worth it.

They are extraordinary birds to have as a pet and I would highly recommend it. Good Luck.

Finishes, yes, a bit. If you meant finches, then no, not really other than they are a very social bird that does not do well by themselves.
