It really depends on the person and the circumstance. In the area I live in, a lot of the people really believe they are Christians because they go to church regularly and make religion a huge part of their lives. What they don't realize is that they are lacking in true spirituality (from what I've observed and from how I've been treated). A few, on the other hand, have reached out in a true Christian spirit. So, it would depend on which one of these groups you are referring to.
Also, I have noticed that sometimes when you are reaching out to someone in a Christian way, it tends to sound corny or trite although it may be sincere.
I usually trust body language more than what a person actually says to me.

Yes, I do. We are all praying for each other and it is not strange or odd that sometimes we think of each other at the same time. Have you ever wanted to pick up the phone and call someone, yet before you actually do, the phone rings and it is that person calling you? Some people call it being "on the same wave length" or "mental telepathy", but I know it is God keeping His children connected spiritually.

Of course. I have experienced both ends of that statement. I have had a strong impression to pray for someone and did so. Later to find out that they were in a dire situation at that time and obviously needed prayer. On the other hand I have been in the situation and someone had the strong impression about me. It works both ways. The inspiration comes from the Spirit. Don't ignore it. Act on it. Test it to be true.

Depends on the person. I know some people have very rich prayer lives. Usually when someone says God put you on their heart, they're praying for you. I've sure got nothing against someone praying for me.

Yes I do because the Lord has put others in my heart to pray for. If we have a close relationship with the Lord & ask HIM for guidence he will. Sometimes you will just have a burben for someone & will pray for them, thats staying open to the Lords calling.

I take it with a grain of salt. If I know that person to be genuine and sincere, I thank them, and consider what they may say. If that person has shown more interest in changing me than getting to know me, I thank them, and go about my life. If it was God, good. If not, let them believe what they want.

Sometimes. It depends on how well I know the person or not. I've had complete strangers say this and I'm kind of leery. Just pray for discernment on this matter.

To a certain extent and it depends on the person who says that to me.
