+ It is very sad if this is a true look at our enforcement personnel. I think that they must be held to a higher standard as they are sworn to uphold the constitution. They have more protection via the police unions, the laws and their connections to the court system than the common everyday person so the profession is ripe for abuse and corruption. Where do you think that 6 pack went that was confiscated from my brother in 1963 when the police took it from him as he was bringing it home to my dad? Bet my dad never saw it. I bet it never made it back to the police station. Where does it start? Where does it end?

Generally, they make life harder for the common man, while the better-off benefit from protection of their assets and can afford and arrange bribery situations with confidence. The law-abiding citizens still pay taxes for all men and women not making something in the private sector, and loot the robbers, dealers, and commonfolk in crappy neighborhoods, where the American Dream and healthy economies don't exist. Yes, there are the most crooked cops and the most unethical dealers standing off against each other, but everyone in between is squeezed and hurt in the crossfire. The factory man who's a little more jaded and weak to vice and the small-time peddlers who have families and can't pursue a job with benefits for past mistakes are the common folk who are not out to intensify the world's corruption, but just to live and get by in it, those are the uncounted who aren't as vividly framed as the high-ups on government and smuggling. No strong opinion or conviction of hatefulness, but a tangent view of a polarized issue

I've been there and experienced police brutality and witnessed a lot of uncalled for situations. You could say I was a problem child, but they have rules too that they're supposed to follow. A lot of corruption and power trips. They're just humans like us so there's nothing this world could do to stop this insanity between officials and patrons. I know they take bribes, break the law every day, and if the price is right, they'll go to the extremes, but I'll leave it at that. Whatever you think they wouldn't do, they do!

While there are dirty cops, most police officers are respectable members of society. Those were isolated incedents that are overrepresented in the media to scare you into watching (or reading) more and thus giving them more money from their sponsors. In fact, simply the idea that the website is called "more bad cop news" should be a big enough clue as to what's going on.

Over all I think we in the United States have the best police forces then any where in the world. Oh there are some (and it happens in any field) that are corrupt, but are found in time and are weeded out and gotten rid of. The worst thing I personally find distasteful in policemen are their smug attitudes when you try to talk to them. I relate them to like some doctors that have bad bedside manners and try to brush it off. I found that when you are pulled over for a driving violation for example, the best thing you can do is try your best to be polite to them and only say "yes Sir" and "no Sir" to them and don't fly off the handle because then your really in trouble. I guess it's in their training for them to always have the upper hand but in a lot of cases they are wrong and unwilling to give in. So my suggestion is to play it cool with them and if you've done nothing wrong they'll send you on your way. Just keep in your mind that they are out there for YOUR protection and treat them as such. They are following orders and you have to follow theirs.

WE own and operate a small vending company, and deal with the general public on a weekly basis... I must say, I do not know how the police deal with it day to day... I see every kind of parent, and must confess , I understand why the children are so difficult, it is because their parents are idiots, as well...Can you imagine dealing with IDIOTS on a daily basis ??? Trying, to say the least.... Impossible, to say the most... I understand why Police have the difficulties they have...I am not saying they are always within their rights, but assholes wear me thin in a short while as well... As far as child welfare, it is to be decided within their jurisdiction if things are not as they should be... I am not a policeman, far from it, but they have to deal with circumstances that the usual guy never has to come close to dealing with.... If you are a cop and not staying i n the lines, better fix things before they get out of control... If you are a cop critic, just remember these guys have the deck stacked against them from the start, and have to gain confidence daily while they are busy saving us from the bad guys... I would like all the officers reading this to know that we(Well, me, at least) appreciate your daily sacrifice to keep all of us safe...I appreciate you, and our lives as we know it would not be possible without you... Thank you for your devotion.......It is appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the police in Jacksonville have been convicted of murder, drug dealing, drug stealing, organized crime, etc.
The Miami and Tampa police are just as bad and maybe worse. I'm sure if I read newspapers from every state I could also tell you the same thing about them. Even the ones who are not corrupt are a$$holes using their "power" to hassle innocent people.

in regard to your question, i vehemently disagree is there corruption in law enforcement, yes but in proportion to the positive effect they are achieving in regard to homeland security community involvement and well being...it a minuscule percentage in both the dubious arena of corruption and your ludicrous accusations of pedophiles. The majority of law enforcement personnel 99% are family oriented, God driven individuals attempting to climb a mountain which to most would seem an obstacle impossible of surmounting. If one were to do diligent research one would discover many individuals who have spent a lifetime of service, often a thankless task in the ranks of military operations.Educational and coaching and or leadership roles. Individuals with a history of engagement to war for our freedoms. Military intelligence is another characteristic one who looks will with certainty find. Are they as a whole without fault? are you ? One must look at the big picture. The nature of their occupation, the enormous amount of stress, the wear and tear it puts on their relationships and the ostacization society puts on their occupation is formidable to say the least. Bottom line is they are human beings. in a dangerous as well as spiritually taxing occupation.

In answer for your question i don't understand all and sundry who has had violence antagonistic to them through the Police. no longer some thing that wasn't justified. i understand various individuals who've complained about violence getting used again them to result an arrest even with the actuality that. those are regularly the individuals who've been violent in the first position as a fashion to get arrested. They then attempt to be violent to the Police who come to arrest them and then bypass crying to the courtroom situations branch about 'intense' rigidity, it quite is regularly lawful. i for my section, on social gathering and in elementary words even as strictly needed, use violence throughout an arrest. I then write down precisely what I did in my arrest actuality. I truly have easily no longer some thing to cover, as i understand my movements are continually lawful.
