Yes. This is nothing to play with.

Here's an early biblical account of some who should have known better:

Act 19:13 Now some also of the Jewish exorcists, who went about, attempted to invoke over them that had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying: I conjure you by Jesus, whom Paul preacheth.
Act 19:14 And there were certain men, seven sons of Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest, that did this.
Act 19:15 But the wicked spirit, answering, said to them: Jesus I know: and Paul I know. But who are you?
Act 19:16 And the man in whom the wicked spirit was, leaping upon them and mastering them both, prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
Act 19:17 And this became known to all the Jews and the Gentiles that dwelt a Ephesus. And fear fell on them all: and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

Technically if we assume that god, the Devil, heaven, hell and demons exist then yes it is possible for a person performing an exorcism to let his spiritual guard down wether through exhaustion or some sort of inner weakness. When this occurs the demon being expelled may seek revenge on the person doing the exorcism and posses him or her.

I do believe in possession. Everyone has the capacity to be possessed, it's just that a demon or the Devil have to chose you in order to be possessed. Remember, they would need to use you somehow for their evil deeds.

Maybe...

But people aren't just possessed...

It is either their actions, or the actions of others (ex: forceable rape or torture) that causes someone to be possessed...

Well, since there is no such thing as an exorcist, I highly doubt it. :)
