don't tell me what to do, just answer the question, if you can, seems most folks are too upset, emotional, irrational and presumptive to give a coherent answer.

I have a question for you. Should we force all people that ask such biased, presumtuous questions to move to samolia? I really dont understand what you are trying to get at with this question besides instigating people and then crying about how you can't get a straight answer. I'm sure you couuld get a better answer if you would explain your reasoning for this question instead of merely posting some half-thought. I wish I could provide you with a decent answer but my only thoughts are to find you and beat you with a heavy bludgeoning object. How can you be so anti-military? Are you just anti-government or are you some anti-military protesting hippie? Please explain yourself if you want educated answers. Keep this in mind: "Stupid questions get stupid answers." Ask a stupid un-thought-out question you get flamed, ask an intelligent question, you'll get more intelligent responses.
ps: before you try to tell people to learn to spell, check yourself Mr. 'Phoenics.' If you dont want to be insulted check yourself.

Huh? Is there something wrong with serving your country as a member of the military? Whom are you trying to punish, the Iraq war vets or the southern states? Are you sure that they wouldn't like to move south just to get away with people like you?
Would it surprise you to know that there are citizens in the southern United States who oppose the war? And that there are plenty of Yankees who support it?
Are you really so partisan that you can't even live near someone with whom you disagree?
I really would like to understand your question better so would you add some more details? I'm not sure I understand y our thinking process.

Aside for insanity why would such a policy be institute? Don't say "Just answer the question", you really have to explain why this policy would ever occur to anyone. Why should anyone think of this let alone act on it? When an Ohio serviceman returns home on what basis would the state or federal law tell him that he must go to Alabama and not home to his wife and kids? Please elucidate on this one.

Considering that most of the northern states are "blue states," and overwhelmingly vote Demoncratic and anti-war most of the time, the returning veterans might WANT to move south. At least there, they'll be appreciated.
(A caveat to my comment, those in the north that do support the troops; you know I was speaking of the majority, not the true Patriots who are outnumbered.)

No ones going to force our military to live anywhere, they live wherever they dang well choose. Who is this force you are speaking of?Liberal northerners armed with protest signs and the statue of Teddy Kennedy couldn't handle two returning Iraqi vets, maybe Kerry will report for duty on that one, he attacked vets returning from Vietnam he has practice.

Sure, if they could. We'd be glad to have them. That would finish off the Yankee's, with their solders here the entire North would look a lot like France. We could then send the Mississippi National Guard to conquer it. Probably take a week or two.

No!
Noone in the world should even think they have the right to tell another American citizen, and a veteran that served in the military at that, where to make a home.
