Just one death is confirmed so far. Two others are under investigation. Nearly 200 cases of illness are reported. It appears possible that the death toll could go up a bit if some deaths are later proven to have been caused by it.

Only one confirmed. They thought 2 at first but ruled out the small child. If those people in Salinas, CA don't get it together it will spell the end of bagged greens for every other location (Santa Maria, CA; Yuma, AZ, etc) that grows greens.
