Just to emphasize, this question is about what YOU would get given YOUR current room -not what I would want to get.

Thanks in advance for all of your answers.

WELL VAIGE.....

Okay here goes my expertise answer as I am in the industry.

Questions for you.....
1. Room Size?
2. Insulated Properly?
3. Do you want a projection screen?
4. What quality are you looking for?

See I won't continue as you have no idea you are a dreamer. I would put a true 7.1 surround system in a room designed as a "true" theater for a CINAMA feeling with popcorn makers on the outside, dark walls, highlighted stairs, true ambiance, and 100% quality sound system/speakers which would run you easy $ 15,000.00 for the sound, components and the speakers. Depending on the size of the room......anywhere from 10-15,0000 in renovations and wall coverings.

You could go less expensive and still have ultimate quality and sound....and I am sure more then your friends.

ULTIMATE SYSTEM

Outdoor on the patio......drop down screen, surround sound etc....Outdoor can simulate a theatre indoors BUT..WAY WAY WAY MORE dollars. It is ultimate though.

Want a business card..? If money is no object or you want a cost effective alternative I can help you experience TRUE Home Theatre.

Stewart Screen. 3 chip DLP 1080P projector. Mcintosh audio Set up. Mx3000 remote. Speakers are tough. Probably the vienna acoustics on thte cover of this months sound and vision. Next week that will change. Maybe some cool electostats. Crestron system throughout the house. Thats a good start! enjoy

5 B&W 800D's, Classe Delta series Processor and Power Amp, a Panasonic 65" plasma. Denon 5910 DVD player. SVS Subwoofer. Price would be close to a modest luxury car. You could spend more, but I think I'd be pretty happy with this system.

Why are you wasting people's time with such an open-ended question?
