My husband cut a part of his finger off last week. We want to throw a "party" (monday night football) for our friends who supported us during that time, so I want to serve nothing but finger foods!! any ideas?

Go with Finger Steaks. Pick up a nice sirloin or a quality Bottom steak at the very least and cut it into strips about 1/2" wide. Bread them up( flour or seasoned flour, egg wash, and seasoned bread crumbs) then deep fry at 375 in fryer for about 3 minutes. If you don't have a deep fryer, use a wide deep pan and don't fill it more than 1/2 with the oil. You only need enough to cover the meat while it fries. Too much and you could be inviting the fire department to your party. Heat on a medium high setting. Use a good oil with a high smoke temp like Canola or peanut oil. If you don't have a meat thermometer, then test oil heat with one piece 1st. If it does not begin to bubble around the meat right away, it is not hot enough. wait a few more minutes and try again. Fry them up in smaller batches so the temp of the oil won't drop too much and gives you a better cooked product.

Ingredients
- 1 can SPAM® Oven Roasted Turkey (12-ounce)
- 2 (8-ounce) containers refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1 (1.25-ounce) package mild chili seasoning mix
- 4 (1-ounce) slices American cheese
- 12 bamboo skewers
- Ketchup and mustard, for dipping

SPAM® Turkey Finger Wraps

Directions
Soak bamboo skewers in water for 10 minutes. Heat oven to 375º F. Remove SPAM® from can and cutting from top to bottom, cut SPAM® into 12 logs. Insert a skewer into the end of each log to within 1/2-inch of the other end. Open crescent rolls. Pinch and shape the crescents into one long rectangle. Cut rectangle into 6 even pieces. Continue this with the second package of rolls. Place chili seasoning onto a plate. Cut each slice of cheese into 6 even strips. Roll each SPAM® log one at a time in the chili mix. Place a coated log on a piece of dough. Place 2 strips of cheese on the same piece of dough. Roll it up and seal the dough by pinching the sides and ends together. Place logs, 1 to 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown and baked through. Serve hot with ketchup and mustard, for dipping. Makes 12 wraps.

cut up little cubes of sharp cheddar or jack cheese (sometimes you can find them already pre-packaged in cubes) and then get a can of pineapple chunks in natural juices. Make a tray of little appetizers skewering a pineapple chunk on top of a cheese cube with a fancy tooth pick. Another option is to pair white cocktail onions with the cheese cubes.

Lady fingers for dessert, you can use nutella to paint a fingernail on one end!

i have the perfect recipe for you. buy yourself 2 packages of ready to eat chicken strips that are spiced with southwestern spice. two blocks of cream cheese, a big pack of shredded cheddar cheese, a bundle of green onions, a bottle of your favorite bbq sauce, and a store bought bread bowl. hollow out the bread bowl and save the peices. melt the cream cheese, chop up the chicken and mix it with the already melted cream cheese. put that in the bread bowl. take your bbq sauce and squirt it in the bread bowl, as much as you wish(i personally like quite a bit, it gives good flavor), next you want to chop the onions, sprinkle the top with the cheddar cheese using as much as you wish, top with onions and set your oven to 350 or so. pop it in until cheese is melted. use your saved bread to dip, and also have your favorite crackers handy to also use as a dipper. this really tastes great. everytime i make it people love it and ask for the recipe. its really fast, and really tastes good!
