Getting sick and dizzy on rollercoasters is attributed to a condition called motion sickness. People also experience motion sickness on boats and long trips in cars for instance. One remedy for motion sickness includes over-the-counter (OTC) and/or prescription drugs such as dramamine and scopolamine.

I love rollercoasters! The most you can do is close your eyes and take a tylenol an hour before (that mainly stops the headaches but it also helps with dizziness) there is really nothing you can do about the sickness. I've tried.

Ride on an empty stomach with no food or drink that makes nausea vomiting and dizziness really bad. Know your tolerance level because some people have a severe reaction to motion sickness.

Don't have a lot to drink or eat, if you get dizzy just close your eyes when you are on the ride.

Try taking dramanine or one of the other over the counter anti-motion/anti-sea sickness medications.. You need to take it well before the ride--at least an hour.

Works for me.
