I have a ton of guy friends. Brilliant right, what more could a girl want. I am even considered a great friend. I am easy to talk to and Tons of people tell me everything. Problem is all my guy friends tell me who they like and how they can get them. I'm not complaining I love them talking to me like that. But I like one of them myself. HE tells me who he likes, ask for my advice about her, and doesn't know. What should I do???

P.S I can't tell him cuz that would put like a brick wall in front of them telling me everything, which most of the time i like knowing.

Oh yea and I know who he likes, it isn't me. At least he told me it wasn't.

If you like the guy and would like to date him, then you have to tell him. Maybe he would like to date you also but is too shy to say so. If you tell him it will not put a brick wall in front of your other male friends.

If you say to him something like, "You are a good friend and I don't want to lose your friendship. That's why I haven't told you that I like you in a romantic way and would like to go out with you. If you aren't interested in that, I would like to stay friends with you."-- How could he feel anything but complimented?

I have always taken it as a compliment when a girl or woman said she liked me and wanted to date me.

I'm 63 y/o and I have no regrets about ever telling a woman I liked her or asking for a date. I do have regrets about the girls and woman that I liked, but was too shy to tell them.

By the way; from the articulate and humerous way you write, you must be a bright woman with a good personality. I would think that any guy with a brain in his head, would like to go out with you.

Thats a tough situation....have you ever thought about asking him to go hang out, just you and him and talk to him about things in your life? Drop hints to him when talking to him (not about the other girls) He is probably clueless about how you feel and doesn't even see it, he needs a little help. The problem is, that you don't want to ruin your friendship and you always take a chance when you try to make it more. You have to decide if you want to risk that. If so, gently make hints to him and then if he doesn't get it, you might have to just ask him out without you tellin him you like him unless he asks.

There is no way you can have this guy unless you let him know how you feel...there's just no way around it.
