America's military, police force and all such organisations ARE truly the brave hearted. They have set a precedence and an example for the world over.

I am still on the fence regarding this issue, if the enemy were to do the same thing to americans or allies, would the enemies be considered murderers or hero then? The world was devastated the day 9/11 happened... but when Iraq was invaded why was so many rejoicing over the pain and devastation of the people? I understand the retaliation towards Afghanistan though... this goes to prove anger and hatred begets more pain and sorrow.

Personally, I think the soldiers are the victims here as well... as they have no say at all where they are sent to, to do the work. If they were to oppose, they would STILL get in deep kaka.

I visited the website and found it VERY hard to figure out the soliders side of things. It's very busy talking about how we should support the troops fighting in Iraq and how they are heroes, but not a lot of details about the case. (I admit I didn't take very much time to poke around; but I think the basic facts should be easily accessed.)

So, I can't support or not support them. All I can do is watch the case in the news and hope that the military court that considers the case carries out their duties in a lawful and just manner.

If they committed a war crime they should be brought to justice, no matter whose uniform they wear. If they are innocent, they should be able to have a fair, just, and impartial trial.

Uh, this country has already been there and done that. It was called Viet Nam. Ask your Parents about it. Considering that we are a nation that spends alot of $$$ to front the best trained army in the world and lots more $$$ to care for our veterans for eternity after we bring them back home.......we should not be suprised by any of this. Freedom is not free...the cost to human suffering is much higher and longer lasting than any of us care to admit. Be glad someone is out there fighting for your freedom.

I don't see how in the heat of combat they can prove that it was intentional. We are letting murderers in the US go all the time because one little piece of evidense don't match. There is no way in hell they can prove anything. I stand behind our soldiers 100 percent. As far as I am concerned anyone on a battleground is a danger, civilian or not. How can they prove theyweren't running for weapons. A couple of them hid behind women like the rest of the insurgents did so they were killed like insurgents. Let them go, we need men who are willing to kill anyone to achieve victory. God Bless America

Don't jump to supporting these guys just yet...

lets have a trial.

It is wrong to kill innocent civilians and ever indicator points to the hard facts that they did just that, and also tried to cover it up.

Let the military bring them to justice, don't interfere. We have had enough Murthas... let the law process the facts.

That is the American thing to do.

Set them free, they were doing their job, taking out the trash, they were accused by the splodeydopes they were fighting and their sympathizers.

Kill the enemy abroad, Fight and indict the enemy within our nation.

it's why america will never defeat iraq, as long as the killing continues the insurgency will grow, i know if my country was invaded and my house was blown up and my neighborhood carpet bombed, i would fight and probably become a suicide bomber
