With people in the U.S. starting to defy that view, why would the middle east accept it?

Very few people convert from Islam to Christianity because it would mean that they could be killed as an apostate. However, if you want to try, Muslims know about Jesus except they do not believe he was crucified until death on the cross. They do not believe that Jesus is the son of god. What a Muslim will listen to is the sermon on the mount. Only Jesus can change their heart through his own words. They will listen because they expect Jesus to return as the messiah. Just plant seeds.

If you study Islam you will discover that Muslims already know that Jesus is the Christ and will return at the dawn of the Golden Age to teach us all how to live under God's laws and flourish on earth without destroying it or corrupting our spirituality. You would also know that all of us a responsible for only and all of our actions during our time on earth and all will be judged by those actions in the end. You would also know that nobody can force faith in God on anybody else...that all must choose their own path. You would also know that Jesus will not "save" you and give you an express trip to heaven...he'll be the one holding the scales in the end.

Questions like these don't have to be a mystery if you would read the bible. Some people in the middle east will have to be beaten in war by Jesus Christ himself and the heavenly host and others will have to have Jesus as their champion.

Bad question.
The people of the middle east do not think as one.
They are individuals ....they will respond individually.
If they take the time to examine the Bible, there is a chance some will see the logic.

A.) There are already some Christians in the Middle East, they are just not a majority.

B.) Islam recognizes Yeshua (Jesus, if you must) as a prophet.

C.) If there are those Muslims (or Jewish people, or Zoroastrians, or any other faith in the M.E.) who wish to convert to Christianity, blowing them up first is probably not the best way to help.

There are a lot of the common people (not the Gov. or the fanatics) getting Saved.
It takes the Holy Spirit to unblind them to give them a Chance to Accept Jesus as their Savior. And they have to say YES to Jesus.

The Intersession by Mary. Fatima was Mohammed's daughter---Our Lady of Fatima---- A Muslim buried a statue of Mary and Jesus by the Wolf River in Spain---Our Lady of Guadelupe-(Guadalupe meaning water and wolf in Aramaic). Many things point to this, I sure hope it happens quickly. Muslims have a lot of respect for Mary.

If he returned to Earth and appeared on Oprah, that'd do it for me.

I think to win over the Arabs, he'd be looking to fill some guest slots on Al-Jazeera.

Sorry for the sarkie answer, but I'm sure there are people over there asking what it will take for Americans to accept Allah as their main squeeze.
