You think Christians are ignorant? What do you have to say about a bunch of fat, social misfit, lesbians who light candles, dance around in the woods and call it worthwhile?

I am not Atheist but would like to respond.
I am a Witch, I am not fat, a social misfit, or a lesbian. I do have friends that have a bit of padding, keep their social groups small, and are gay. Some are Christian, some not.
If you are not familiar with Witches, you are hardly in a position to form an opinion.

I'm a Witch, I'm bi, I've always been a big girl. But I weigh less as a Witch than I did as a Christian, when I was so depressed I was self-medicating with food.

As for lighting candles, I've noticed that gets done in some churches, too.

As for social misfits, your churches create those by telling people to fear their neighbors and pop culture.

And as for dancing around in the woods, maybe if you did some of that, you'd feel better.

Some of us are average height & weight well adjusted witches. And we mainly burn our candles indoors now to avoid "wierdos" like the one who asked this question. Blessed Be .

And what are YOUR secret little fetishes, eh? Suckin' in your chest and flexin' in the mirror? Maybe prancing in the mirror? The stash of porn under your bed? Maybe you're fat. Or girls just don't like you (can't imagine why!)? Bet you like lesbians when they're hot, don't you? Pick your nose when noone's around?

I am neither an atheist nor a Wiccan but I have to say that they have never posted anything hateful towards me or my faith. Unlike some fellow Christians they have not called my Catholic faith un- Christian. They do however seem like decent, respectful, and gentle people.

People are free to choose any form of worship or non-worship they wish. This is a free country after all. You have the freedom to worship a deity that has no empirical proof either for or against it's existence. If more people worried more about themselves rather than what their neighbor is doing the world would be a better place much quicker.

So, you are saying that all witches are fat social misfits? Have you looked into any church lately? My grandmother was a hereditary witch, and she was none of those things.
