I like a girl at work - i think she knows it. But i feel that she is being influenced by rumours and gossip about me which are complete untrue! How do i convince her that they are lies and that these words are from people who feel insecure about themselves!

Let her be. If she is easily influenced by rumors and gossip, then she will NEVER trust you.

As long as you are happy with the person you are then I can see no reason to worry what other people think of you, if they don't like you then it's their loss not yours. As for this girl at work, she can't be worth bothering with if she is so shallow as to be influenced by the opinions of others rather than make her own decision about you - forget her, she's not worth the effort. There are probably many lovely ladies out there who are willing to give you a chance. Good luck.

My main concern if I were you would be why people are spreading these rumours about you - arent you worried about it?
Regarding the girl - Id approach her and tell her that youre aware of the fact she may have heard some stuff about you and explain that its untrue - then Id just ask her if shed be interested on going on a date sometime.

Hi, my name is Eunice Saunders and maybe I can help you with this. First walk the talk.....be the person you claim to be....If she is someone worth caring about she will see through the lies and gossip....Second you must learn to be a good friend...you can do this by thinking really hard about what type of friend you would like to have and then try really hard to be that type of person yourself.....you will find if you try this that the type of person you want will gravitate towards you. Good luck to you! Visit my web site at: http://agentsaunders.listingbook.com

You don't - you prove to her by actions and manner that you are a good man. Explaining and apologising etc always piss people off, and they never really believe you anyway. (Experience). No, the best thing is to brazen it out to a certain extent, and SHOW her you don't deserve what these office gossips have pinned on you. If she doesn't buy it, keep trying 'til you get a headache, then chuck her out of a window. Good luck.

Just be yourself - if the rumours are untrue then it'll come out in the end. Don't rush and tell her cos she thinks your covering up! start making rumours about someone else! it'll soon blow over.

just tell her not to judge you before she knows you, and ask her to give you a chance to get to know you a bit better and to realize that you are a very sweet guy!

Show secure and make her feel that she can trust on you, because you are a real man.
