I sit in the cafeteria at work and everytime I look up and I happen to meet eyes with this one guy. He gives me a really serious stare. One time he was walking past me and he just kind of stopped and looked at me. Then walked on. Maybe he was confused about something he was doing. But I only catch him doing this when we happen to meet eyes. I'm seen him pass by and not stare at me. But I feel like one day he said something to his friend he was with because he looked back and me and had a smile on his face. What could this guy be saying about me. Do you think he's saying something mean. He does seem stuck up. I'm not overweight. But is he saying he thinks I'm ugly. I just don't understand what I've done that he's doing this to me. I mean he looks to be 22 and I'm 30. What's his problem?

It's hard to know what's in someones mind if you don't know them and have never talked to them. Sometimes a persons actions may appear negative, but when asked, have a reasonable explanation.
The best thing to do is to just ask the person. Asking him, would give you the best chance of finding out. If you did that, you would have to be prepared to hear an angry answer, but you would then have the chance to explain things.
The other thing you can do, is just ignore the person and forget about it. The advantage of asking the person, is that then if the answer is positive, you really can forget about it. If the answer is negative, you have a chance to work out the issue.

To the lame answers prior, you suck. Ok. probably one of two things. He likes you in a way and maybe you intimidate him to where you leave him speachless. Or he's just an immature male who thinks putting someone else down to another dude makes him look good. No telling with men, they are not too bright. I have a mouth on me....so personally instead of letting it bother me.....I'd just ask him next time he stares, if he has something to say. :-)

Aren't you being a tad paranoid? Maybe he's attracted to you and the age difference is holding him back. Or maybe nothing, you're reading a lot of significance into a little evidence. Maybe he thinks you're staring at him, and wondering what your problem is.

He sounds either shy, crazy, or mean. When you meet eyes with him, acknowledge him by waving or something. When he stops as he walks by, say "Hello" and see how he reacts. A short conversation will reveal his motives.

It sounds a lot more like he has a shy crush on you... When I find a girl repulsive I either ignore her completely, or if she insists on talking to me, try to deter her by acting rude.
