I would like to believe that my wonderful, loving deceased mother is still able to watch her EIGHT children!! She was the best and I miss her so much!!

John 3:13 states as follows. " No one has ever gone to Heaven AND RETURNED but the Son of Man". However,our deceased loved ones would not be able to view us from Heaven because that would be viewing sin which does not exist in Heaven though it is known among the angels when a sinner repents.

That is an interesting question. I would like to believe it is true for my own satisfaction but then again I wouldn't want my loved one to be burdened with all the insane crap that we have to live with here. It would make them sad and there is no sadness in Heaven.

Jesus compared death to a sleep, not a voyage.
Have a look at John 11:11-13.
Note that Jesus brought Lazarus back to life ON EARTH.
That is the pattern.
That is the model.
All who have died sleep.
They await a 'renovation' of earth to a paradise and then they will be re-made.
Please read Psalm 37:29.

I doubt it, because it would be traumatizing to see us suffer and not be able to do anything about it. Heaven will be a wonderful place, no more tears.

i dont believe they are looking down on us ... but can be with us anytime they wish to
they still care for us and give us a guiding hand at times ( even subtly )
and the love between a mother and child is never broken ... not even in death
im sure she is xxx

not according to the bible, they are not. they are awaiting Christ return. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
John 3:13 NO ONE has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

I believe they still live on Earth amongst us, but we can't see or hear them.
