I have some dreams come true, some the next day, but there was one, if I new that it was to come true, that it met what it did. I in a way new before the dream, what I should of done. It was said to me by a priest, that basically I saw it through God's eyes, but I did learn a lot out of the pain I went through.

Almost everytime I dream I am able at some point to realize it is a dream and then actually have fun with it. But recently, I haven't been able to, and that is the most scary feeling, not being able to control your own mind.

I haven't personally but my sister has. Also she has dreamed about events happening concerning certain people and places and they have come true. Most of the time i don't even dream, or cant remember them. I saw someone on here once asking about dream catchers so i looked them up and read about them because something i had never heard of before.

My mom taught me how when I was a child, to control my nightmares. She told me that when I was about to wake up, I should either flip over my pillow to "change the channel" or fight whatever it was that was about to hurt me in my dream. My maternal family is Christian, but also mystical, and that kind of stuff was handed down for generations. It helped a *lot*.

lucid dreaming it is called
i have only had it happen a few times but it is a wonderful feeling when it does
i know many people who can do this regularly
it is said that if you are taking control in your dream .. then you are taking control ( or wishing to ) with some aspect of your life

yes, this is known as lucid dreaming, and is a rare trait. By refining it you may be able to access the akashish record, manifest in the astral body, or induce OBEs.
