No, I think that sounds fine. A little underweight if anything, definitely not too fat.

Oh my goodness. Most children that are between 12-14 yrs of age, weigh over 100 lbs. I'm not sure, since you didn't mention her body style and shape ( large-breasted vs. small) etc, but I would think 100 lbs is PERFECT, if not slightly underweight. You are sitting there lookin at the child you helped to create and you can't look and SEE if she's okay or not?? This is a very important SELF-ESTEEM time in her life. ALL PRE-TEENS think they are fat, ugly, not wanted, etc. Please be more reassuring in the future! She is counting on you for reassurance and guidance.

At that age your daughter is going through alot of changes as you well know. Her body will be changing fast and she is about where she needs to be. If anything help her eat the right foods and quanties and encourage her to be active play sports and such. This age is very difficult I know I have a daughter in the 7th grade myself, you have to be VERY careful with body image so that bad and health hazards don't start. Good luck you will need it I also have a 21 yr old daughter so I have been there done that.

No, she is certainly not fat and as a mother, it would be in your best interests to become more clued up about these issues and that doesn't include posting on a site like this! Take care : )

I wouldn't say it is... I mean, I'm 18 and 5'4", and I way 125lbs... And since girls mature faster than boys, chances are you don't have much growing left to do... And besides, who has the power to determine who's fat? We all have a way that we view our bodies, and if you think you look good, then work it, baby girl!
