I'm confused as what you are asking. I can tell you though, that whether you are a child or not, inactivity is directly related to obesity. Unfortunately, in children, it can lead to other complications as well. Diabetes Mellitus is one example. High Blood Pressure "Hypertension" is another.

I'm no expert but over eating would be the main reason, meals are far to big plus all the junk food,eating all of the chocolate & big bags of potato chips etc,sugar in all of the food & the list goes on. Kids get treats all the time now instead of only once in a while & as I said everything is far to big.Both my kids gained weight after they left home as young adults simply by over eating

One way to stay thinner, or get thinner, is to exercise. To move. If you are sedentary and you don't lower your food intake, you will gain weight. At any age, not just in childhood.
