The "Mexican" name Jesus is actually Spanish, and derives from the Greek and Latin.

Jesus was a name given to him after he died, it's a hebrew term for enlightened. Je and sus are the root words. meaning He Enlightened.
More to the point, how would your dad be named Joseph, your mom Mary and your brother James, then you get stuck with a weird name like that? His family was not poor, there are records of James and Joseph showing up in England, they were freight runners. There are also reports of Jesus showing up in Tibet (it's in their history) and he stayed there for quite a while, that's where sme of the missing 18 years were, learning philosphy and religion in far off countries with the money his dad made.

He is a king but came to this earth with a common name, he had a humble birth and was born in a manger, had common looks so he wouldn't attract people with his looks but by his works and word. His birth was announced to lowly shephards in a field. He is a truly humble King.
