both!! Technique and skill is equally important. You can't be selfish. Pay attention to her needs as well. Even if u r on the small side you can make up for it with technique. Mutual satisfaction is much more rewarding.

I would say a little bit of both but most importantly its the skill its used in.

well, my choice would be both, however it really isn't the size of the pencil, it is how well you can sign your name.
