how do I make a margarita?

1 1/2 ounce tequila
1 1/2 ounce triple sec
1 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
dash of salt


Shake ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and serve on the rocks in a salt rimmed glass.

I make an awsome margarita with frozen limeade. Use 2/3 can tequila and 1/3 can triple sec. I have found that the tequila brand doesn't make much difference, but do buy more expensive triple sec. I say "more" expensive because none of it is outrageous. I do use white tequila. It seems to make a difference. If you are using large cans of limeade, squeeze the juice from 2-3 limes - 1 lime for a small can. Margaritas on the rocks? Add 2 cans of water. If you put ice in the cans first and then fill them with water, you don't dilute the margaritas. Frozen? Dump the mixture in the blender, fill with ice and blend. Enjoy! :)

Don't use that mix crap - it's disgusting. Fresh limes, good tequila and triple sec. I like to add a little Cointreau to mine as well.

on the border has a mix, all you do is add the alcohol and freeze it. It will be slushy, i am sure other companies make it too. but that was my friends bring over.
