I am not certain about a proper or improper way to display it.
I have always been told that one should never buy it for themselves, it should be presented as a gift.

the proper way to wear it, is in your own way that is most spiritually enhanced and meaningful for you. with good spirits not bad spirits. as long as it is not meant to be offensive spiritually and in life.
example: offensive would be...having the turquoise made into or adorned with metals that indicates the play boy bunny. a good way would be...in a form of a cross. do you know what i mean?

Make sure that stones are set directly on skin, as they give you more power that way.

there are necklaces , bracelets , ear-rings, brooches, hair accessories, made from turquoise choose to your liking
