Depression is a medical ailment just as cancer, heart disease, or epilepsy. The only difference is that it is in and deals with the brain and there remains a stigma associated with mental illness. It can be a result of an imbalance of chemicals and with the right meds can be helped. God does not inflict bad on us or use bad things to punish us. Sometimes our bodies fail us. Find the right doctor who will work with different RXs to find a good combo for you and stay in the word. You will get through this. Remember, you are a child of God and he is your father. No loving Father would intentionally inflict harm on his child or punish her with an illness.

this could be a badest question packed with lack of information I actual have ever responded. Do you think of Allah will enable a devil mislead Prophet of Allah for 23 years. Angel Gabriel became into not an effortless spirit or devil. He became into Messenger between Allah and all Prophets of Allah. The Holy Ghost you think became into additionally same Angel Gabriel. If Quran had deceptive statements delivered by utilising a devil, why thousands of Christians abondon Christianity and convert as Muslims. maximum of them are extraordinarily knowledgeable. they at the instant are not ignorants like the asker of question seems to be like. They study Quran some years in the previous they settle for Islam. as quickly as they substitute into Muslims, they're plenty extra appropriate and non secular people than even the born Muslims. Does question asker thinks they're all fools and he's the wiest guy?

God is not punishing or testing you. God is watching, standing with and encouraging you through these bouts with a physical and psycological element. Depression does not interfere with Jesus being friend to you but it can block you sensing it.
If you want a positive spin for it, consider it a witness tool. By youe experience and persistent Faith you can share with others the joys and sorrows and point out where God was/is in all of it.

Depression is either caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, or it is the reaction of the mind to stresses and it's inability to cope with them in an appropriate manner.
Depression is not something a loving god would inflict on anyone for any reason, and it is not something any deity or his son thereof would hold against you.

Grow up, the sooner you realize there is no god, the sooner you will get over your depression. You are the one who's responsible for you being depressed because you have no appreciation for what you have. No matter how bad you have it, you are living a better life than 90% of the people on the planet who live in desperate poverty...people who don't have food, or even clean drinking water....now doesn't that just make your silly problems seem trivial?

No, it isn't a punishment from God, but a curse of Satan. Yes, depression gets in the way of my relationship with Jesus.

I think that all Christians are being tried and tested more and more, as the day of Jesus' return draws near. We may all have to endure some difficult times, but we must remain strong. Allow it to strengthen your faith, and keep looking ahead to the glorious times that await all true believers.

None of the above! It's a chemical imbalance that strikes people of all religions. It is no more a test or punishment than diabetes.

Depression is not of God it is of Satan, and when we get down that is when we are to run to Jesus. Depression can affect your relationship with Jesus, and that is what Satan wants. You have to be stronger in the Lord. There are many people in the Bible that we depressed, but they always leaned on God.
