ok so i downloaded a movie in avi format and want to burn it onto a dvd disk but it say that it cannot record it. do i have to change it into another format? and if so how?

You need a program to change from avi to DVD using WinAVI Video Converter 7.7

Use Nerovision express to create a DVD from an AVI file...it converts files automatically to DVD format...

There is software to do that go to www.download.com you should be able to find what you need.
