i've had a crush on a guy FOREVER and i have a feeling he likes me too 'cause i feel him staring at me a lot. but the only problem is i'm not as popular as he is and we hardly talk. do you think a popular guy could like a girl who's a bit shy? or do popular guys go for more outgoing girls?

Honestly I think jocks, football players, or just plain popular guys go for more outgoing girls. Guys don't want to ruin their reputation, that's why we see them dating only other popular girls. It is rare, but I think if you really do like him and he secretly likes you, you guys may have a chance.

If you seriously like this guy just let him know. Tell him when you can get him alone like in the hallway after school or before your choice. Yes popular guys do date shy girls. Just make sure that he's not looking to deflower you for the sake of his own popularity. Some guys have pure intentions but not all of them.

really i dont get the whole thing between popular and not popular so i think its intirley possible that he could like you and i seee no harm in it at all. but if you really want him you have to bump up the courage a little bit, for example i know a very out going girl and she get who ever she want, but then i also know a shy girl who only gets it sometimes and finally i know a shy girl who still gets what ever she wants, its just the way you use you personality you need to get the right "vibe and way of use" for it

well since you are obvioulsy fishing for a particular answer and trying to justify this scenario, i would say "sure, why not"
dont worry about popularity and social circles, it doesnt matter. (After you leave high school you will realize just how silly it all was.) Dont let that stop you form talking to someone you like, either as a friend or as a romantic interest. You might have allot in common and really click.

I know when i was in high school i had a crush on this guy who i thought only the most beautifuland popular girl could date him. I never thought i would ever have a chance with him. A few months after i graduated i ran into him and we started talking. He told me that he had always noticed me in the halls but was always to scared to come up and talk to me because he thought i would deny him!! So you never know, he could like u!!

I'm going to tell you popular guys like popular girls it's not everyday you see a popular liking shy girls but I'm not saying they don't it's just that some like shy girls and popular girls I hope you get him good luck.

i think shy girls are really cute, believe it or not, but i think overprotected girls from their parents are cute to, why? uhm? probaly bcause they dont care as much of being popular or friends that guys feel their focused more on their boyfriend, i dont think it has anything to do with charisma or outgoing or anything, just the fact that he feels safe and that he doesnt have to constantly fight over those bitchy rich girls, but you can be shy and rich at the same time! watch a walk to remember..

a popular guy can absolutely like a shy girl! besides, you're saying yourself you think he likes you and i think he does. just give him those shy glances that you shy girls only know and he's gonna come after you.
