Paul condemns homosexuality in his writings, of course he's not gay!

While I don't think Paul was gay, I do think that his writings are a lot grayer than most Christians today will admit. Part of our confusion comes from mistranslations. For example, the word homosexual wasn't used to translate certain Greek words until modern times. For a thorough examination of what Paul actually said and meant, I recommend reading Eugene Philo's "Would Paul Call Gays Sinner" - an amazon kindle publication that you can find by visiting their site at www.christmosaic.com

Although it would be very freeing and afirming for a Christian Disciple to be proven as gay, I believe it is none of our business. The message of fredom and acceptance should stand on it's own without being limited by who is or isn't mentioned/represented in a list.

I find it more likely that Paul's thorn was that of alcoholism or possibly depression. Again God was smart not to tell us thereby the thorn could have been any struggle a person has and Paul's honesty of his struggle then give hope to all.

No, or JESUS would not have appointed him an Apostile on the road to Damascus. JESUS sought out Paul, (whom was called Saul), and gave him instuctions to follow, after he blinded Paul.

And the LORD called Homosexuallity an abomination, so that we know that homosexuallity is frowned upon in the Bible.

I wish you well...

no idea. i was not present during those times. honestly i don't care either. my advice - you should not care either. our understanding and moral and legal customs of the times changes according to the land we live in and the year and culture we live in. what was then acceptable becomes unacceptable and vice versa and history relates those incidents accordingly -- at least historians do with "their timing" in check.

He certainly didn't like women. However, that fact only proves him a misogynist.

Doubtless he tried it, and felt so guilty and ashamed that he bashed gays from then on.
