Define politically Conservative(particularly non-US Citizen)?

Question

I know people who consider themselves to be in the middle politically according to their standards but, in are actually liberal in what they believe. I'm curious to know what "foreign" or non-US citizens think is conservative politically or just plain conservative i.e. every day life styles, etc., etc. Thanks.

generally though, conservative applies to a political philosophy that wants limited government, esspecially in regards to regulation of bussiness and the economy. "Conservatives" also tend to support "tradtional values", often leading to increased regulation of the personal lives of citizens.
