Any ideas for a dog that think she's a goat?

I have an almost 2 yr old black lab, border collie, golden retriever mix who thinks she's a goat. She eats whatever she can get her hands on: towels, socks & underwear (clean or dirty & swallows them whole), coasters, glasses. . . you name it, she's tried to eat it. We've been to obience class and she knows "leave it" but still tries to eat everything in sight and ends up coming out one end or the other.

I've had chewers, but never a goat.

Ever try the hot sauce on a decoy? Leave the item she likes rubbed with hot sauce. My dogs did not like it very much. Don't know if this idea will help. Good luck.

This is just a bad habit or maybe your dog lack vitamins, I see you say mixed, sure the father was not a goat.

Try to keep things put up where she cannot get to them. Sooner or later she will end up with a bowel obstruction and it will either cost you and arm and a leg for an operation or it will kill her.

hypnotize her. While she is 'under' have another dog come in and 'talk' to her, and convince her she is a dog. Aslo start feeding her 'dog' food and soon she should get the message.

wow, that is so hard... your dog might get sick from eating those so if i were you i would probably not get another dog. if you get another dog this dog mightteach him to do this too.. sorry, that's all i have, good luck!
