Collect the ingredients in the meal you want to serve and look for the nutritional guide on the back. Determine how much of each ingredient you are going to use and multiply it by the amount per serving that it gives on the label (ie 1 Tsp) and add everything up for the whole meal and then divide it by servings.

Or you can go here! http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

Oh my god, I calorie counted for years. ok., you have to weigh (even grossly, like 3oz or about 4oz) everything that goes into the recipe, then divide full recipe into 4, 8, 2, whatever servings & simply divide.

you must divide & portion out though, before you eat anything, or else everything will be off.

calorie lists are at USDA.gov.
you can find grams, oz. of everything.
(you need a kitchen scale).

list your ingredients and calculate the calories of each. Total them up and there you are-the total calories for what you have made. Work out how many portions it serves and divide the total by the number of portions.
