We've been dating for a year and i've been away to school. we would only see each other during the christmas break and summer. now i'm back. He's not sure about us and says that he has something to fix (with his ex girfriend). what's that about?

us as women have a hard time hearing what men are saying to us, and right now I think you are have that problem. if he said he is not sure about you; sweetie that mean he is not SUUUURRREEE about you two being together, and this thing about him needed to fix something with his ex girlfriend. Sweetie let him go. I know this is easier said then done, but you should never be put in a situation where someone is not sure about wanting to be with you. Long distant relationships are hard, I know I was in one for 5 years, My ex was in the Army and I only saw him like twice a year, and he cheated on me and the whole 9 yards, but I stayed because I didn't think I could bring my self to start over. Listen to what he is saying. he needs to be free let him go.

Before you jump to conclusions, sit down and ask him frank questions about what he means. Just get as much clarity as you can from him. Then, if you have mutual friends or know people who know him where he was while you were away, do some investigating. Most importantly, follow your gut. If you feel something is off and he is backing away from you, he may not necessarily be cheating, but may be pulling away from you for other reasons. If he is cheating, it may be immaterial as the relationship may not be going in a good direction anyway. Did you notice anything odd in his interaction with you while you were away? coldness? distance? Relationships are hard that are long-distance. How often did you guys see each other before you were away at school?

It is almost impossible to have a long distance romance and maintain it.
I would say that he is NOT that into you.
Let him go and he will come back if he truely loves you.
You are still young and there isn't any reason that this is your only chance at love.
He probably hasn't considered himself as your boyfriend for a long time.

well...give him some time ,,,,maybe it's true ...he's trying to balance him self and put things in the correct order...what if he's trying to hide in his cave and think twice before he lists his decisions...from my point ...wait and get busy with something else...if he returns back from his cave to you then he really cares if he hides for a week then he's a loser! and he's cheating on ya!

He's been messing around that's the down side the long distance relationships. If you love him then you'll work through it, if not then you have to find another.
