Geico is expensive. Auto insurance is a product offered by many companies that have the same coverage for a lot cheaper. To get the best prices use the Internet.

1) Go to http://www.2insure4less.com
2) Fill out an auto insurance quote request form
3) Compare 5 quotes online and save

I don't have Geico. Never will. I have Erie and pay 1/3 of what Geico wants to charge me and I have full coverage with Erie on a 2004 vehicle. I know two people who had Geico. They said it was okay until they had to make claims (1 each) for accidents that were their fault. They each had very significant rate increases after that. I don't know how Geico stays in business. They run commercials here in Baltimore every 10 minutes on nearly every channel.

Personally, I have Geico and they do not cover much of anything. For example, coverage is not afforded for aftermarket parts unless you have an endorsement on your policy. Professionally, I have found them to be very lacking in their investigate abilities.

I have a current claim with them right now...they violate all DOI regs. But the adjuster is nice.

Rates are reasonable. But you do get what you pay for. Pay a small premium, expect a small return in the event you file a claim. Meaning...they don't cover much.

They are okay. The only bad experience I had with them was one time they offered a special on getting your windshield replaced if it had a crack(s) in it (which by the way you can get a ticket for if a cop happens to notice your windshield). This required filing a claim through them to get the windshield replaced. I took them up on their special as my windshield had a crack on it. As soon as I filed the claim and got my windshield replaced, they immediately raised my rates. So watch for this!

Great customer service. No experience filing a claim.

Forget that lil lizard ... you may get a good quote, but try filing a claim and it's a disaster ... you know the ole saying? - "you get what you pay for"? ... it's true!
