I think our country needs to bring God back on its good side, with all the monstrosities happening in other countries.

30 seconds is not going to make it now days. Repent is the word that they need to do, and nationally.

I do not believe that is proper however I think you are right we need to bring God back into our daily lives as well as raise our national pride in being American.

When I was young The National Anthem was even played at the movies before the start of the film. Also prayer was acceptable in school and all functions.

The news industry is a BUSINESS. What it chooses to do is up to them.
There are television stations that have religious programming. They must be popular because they're still on the air. They are a BUSINESS too.
What makes you think our country was ever on God's Good Side? Take a good look at our history. Even when God was "our side", look at what was done to others living here.
If there are monstorous things happening in other countries, they NEED to pray.
By the way, what prayer would like? Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Indian, etc. Who gets to decide which one to choose.

Most of the "monstrosities" occurring in other countries is the direct result of the actions of people who claim their God is telling them what to do, including George Bush, his supporters and at least one of his Generals.

Maybe we should remove God from all public offices & activities since including him has done nothing but lead to disasters.

Why pray? Why not just do a rain dance? Maybe mix up a magic potion? Science shows us time and time again that all of the above have the same exact odds of actually working.

Now, If you can show me some evidence that prayer works more often than waving a lucky rabbits foot....not only will I join you...I'll make you a millionaire.

With all due respect, I disagree. Don't get me wrong. I'm a good Christian who prays and goes to church. What you are saying might and will offend many people. Could you tell me which god are you going to pray to? What about those who don't believe in God altogether. Religion is something the person does by choice and it should never be pushed on him.

What the hell are you talking about. We didn't start having problems till God was put in everything back in the 50's, when they put God in the pledge of allegiance and on the money. That's when we started having all the big problems. It was just war after war after that happend.

Um...on Fox News, maybe. As for the rest, you're just gonna have to get used to sharing this country with the rest of us!

Ha - I would love to see that! I agree with you 100%, but the media seems to HATE God. If I were to run a business like a news organization, I don't think I would seek to alienate over 75% of my prospective clients.

heck NO! are you nuts?? not everyone who watches the news is religious, let alone a certain type of religion. prayer is personal and private, and individual to each faith. leave well enough alone.
