oh no honey! Maybe you could just gently suggest something different...lol! People get very defensive when it comes to naming their babies but I'm sure she'll see your point eventually..... I once heard some mom's-to-be talking in the OB's office and one was saying she was going to name her baby Chanteclair if it was a girl. I was just sitting there wondering if she knew that was the name of a rooster... hehe....

Although Ecstacy may seem like a pretty and sexy name but its inappropriate and just mean on the part of the mother (no offense) because your child is going to have a HARD time with that first and last name. Talk to your best friend about at LEAST making Ecstacy a middle name so only her close friends can poke fun at her and not the whole school when she gets older.

Tell her that its a baby and not a dildo! Show the baby that youre a good god mother by letting its mother know how dumb that name is. Dont let her put a permanent pick on me sign on that childs back.

That poor baby is going to be laughed at! As long as you told her your feelings and the bad points of that name, there's nothing you can do. At least it's kind of a pretty name and it means happiness.

I think ur friend was high on X when she conceive this child and that may be all that she could think of while she was pregnant. I hope she doesn't think that was cute that's just like me having a baby name it Confetti.

To me, this is nothing less than emotional abuse for the child's futrue. As the "God Parent" I would suggest you give this child a respectul sounding nickname and encourage others to call her that as well.
I really don't know what else to tell you.
