Sex is the only way to lose your virginity, just because someone masturbate doesn't make them not a virgin, man there wouldn't be very many virgins if any as soon as puberty hit if that was the case;)

If you love him...there is no reason to dump him just becuase he wasn't a virgin. If he wasn't a virgin before the 6th grade it's a little weird...but you definetly have to have sex to lose your virginity. You can't lose your virginity to yourself. Your ex boyfriend sounds like he is a little too into himself to be giving himself orgasms... and telling you about it.
