Cancun is very active and affordable. Cabo is great too. Mexico is a good deal cheaper than Hawaii. Jamaica is affordable, but a nasty dirty place. Not good for wedding or honeymoon.

Is money an issue at all? If you're looking at least expensive, go with Breezes Runaway Bay, Jamaica. That's where I was going to have mine, but had to accomodate for a child. I was told it's somewhat spring break-ish with parties, adult games, etc going on. Sounds like fun!

And Yes, I have heard Jamaica is dirty, but you honestly have no reason to leave the resort if you don't want. It's all-inclusive, so your price including airfare is set. You don't need money once you get there, unless you decide to do activites outside of the resort.

Cancun has an excellent nite life, plus lots of really cool things to do during the day. The water is mesmerizing and it only costs .65 cents per person to take the bus anywhere. If you go, be sure to take the day trip across to Isla Mujeres. I highly recommend Cancun!!

Jamaica! Not that I've gone yet, but I'm going for my honeymoon. This will sound like an ad, but it's not. I'm just in the "oohhh.... this is so great...." phase since I just booked my honeymoon. Sandals offers a FREE wedding package when you stay for at least 7 nights. They throw in the officiant, witness, cake, flowers, etc. Plus, since it's all inclusive, your budget is pre-set (no paying extra for food, drinks, or activities). I'd do a destination wedding myself, but my family would KILL me since there so many family members who wouldn't be able to attend for various reasons. Good luck with the planning!

Santo Domingo may be the capital of the Dominican Republic and the oldest European town in the Americas and in the event that you would like to see one of the UNESCO World Heritage List then, that hotelbye is the place. Santo Domingo is really a university of cultures and neighborhoods. It's where in fact the sounds of life, domino pieces slapped on tables, backfiring mufflers and horns from chaotic traffic. In the center of the town is the Zona Colonial, where you will discover one of the oldest churches and the oldest surviving European. Also, in the Zona Colonial you might find Gazcue, among the city's oldest neighborhoods, full of previous Victorian properties and tree-lined streets.
