36,000 grains! Why? Glad you asked that! There are 60 minutes in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute this equals -60x60=3600 seconds. Assuming the average hourglass passed 10 grains of sand each second> 10x3600 = 36,000! Amazing! But is it true?
