I have a crush on this girl and i think she likes me, but im not sure. Anyway i was thinking about waving or smiling at her while i passed her in the hall. Is this a good idea to get her attention or no?

Better yet - go up and talk to her - about a class or school or something you know she's interested in - then you'll get an idea of whether she is interested in you or not - saves you from torturing yourself all year.

Yes it is a good start. You've got the right inititive. After you start doing that for a couple days. Start saying "hi". Give her complements. I , being a girl, like comploments. Maybe you like her necklace or her earings. Then you can start a conversation. If she plays sports say to her "I saw you playing on the soccer feild. I really liked how you scored that goal. You know we see each other in the hall alot and i would like to introduce myself. My name is..." Then you can become friends with her. You don't nessisarilly have to start up a soccer conversation with her, but at least get her talking about something she likes. And don't be afraid. Just talk to her and stay around her, then she'll get the message.

A smile is good, but only a short quick smile. Do you have any classes with her? If you do, then you might just want to start talking to her and see how that goes. Good luck!

why are you asking??? people need to really get some consiousness and not rely on answers people to make up thier minds for them... yes get advice but not for things like getting a girl to notice you by waving or some sh** like that... sorry its just a question that you should really ask yourself, not others its how you build self confidence and independance... good luck with the girl and yourself...

Just go talk to her. Ask her out. Go for the gusto. Why prolong it? The longer you wait, and waste time with "howdy do's" and waiving, someone else may talk to her before you do. Talk to her soon. Don't be nervous. The worst that could happen is that she doesn't like you.
