Most car stereos require two live feeds - a yellow one and a red one.
One is linked to the ignition switch, so that the stereo turns off when you turn the engine off.
The other is permanently live, so that the stereo keeps its memory and doesn't need its code entered each time.
It appears that the second feed isn't attached properly to the back of your stereo - or doesn't have power (its usually the same circuit as the clock, so if your clock works the wire for the stereo should have power).

what happen there is that the installer mixed up the wires. There are 2 power wires for stereo`s one is a CONSTANT POWER which is the one that keeps the memory! And the other is an ACCESSORY POWER which turns on the radio when the key is turned! So my guess is that you need to switch these to wire around that should do the trick there.Hope that helped you.

They ussually has to wires for the + voltage, one that comes from the ignition switch so when you open the switch you can turn on your stereo, the other comes direct from the battery (unswitched) to run the memory, clock etc. at all times except when you dissconnect the battery.
Good luck

the steroeo desires a stay feed all of the time from the battery. apparently the stay is optimal to the ignition so the stereo basically gets means once you ignition is on. which reasons the steroe to lose all of the settings as there is not any means to uphold the reminiscence.

Because who ever put it in wired your radio side constant wire the red wire "the wire that always needs voltage" to the switched wire "the wire that turns on with the car." Sooo every time you turn your car off the wire that should be getting power is getting turned off.
Or they wired your constant to your illumination wire.
To test that just turn your dimmer down. Your radio will shut off.

This is what u do(u can do it at home)..there will be this 2 wires in ur radio.one yellow and one red...connect the red one to ur battery(u'll need to join long wires) then u connect ur yellow wire to a iggntion type of wire(it will be one of the wires with your speaker wires)u'll hav to touch da yellow wire to each and every wire available there to make sure...u'll know wich one is your iggnition wire then ...NOTE! PUT YOUR CAR IGNITION TO ON or ACC...
once da yellow wire is correctly joint..your radio will start workin and it wont lose its memory if u turn off da ignition
but different cars hav different wiring...maybe u'll hav to use your red wire as your yellow or your yellow as your red....you'l need to experiment here a liitle bit
some problems u mite face wud be dat u'll lose ur digital clock display...if it happens then take it to your nearest car operator to get the clock fixed.
There u go...problem solved
Have Fun!

your batter turns it off, low voltage, unless its used then it might be something else, check the power, ground, and ignition wiing, if loose, then thats your problem
2 it mite be static electricity, the volltage on the battery looses alot of power to the ground of the ehicles, causes it to loose power, and do frequency problems with yor antenna, also causing this problem you are having now
